Tract is a peer-to-peer personalized learning platform designed to foster creativity, interests, and promote project-based learning for students in grades 3-12. This blog post will share 5 game changing ideas for using Tract in the classroom.

Tract sponsored this blog post. However, I only recommend products and/or services I would use in my own classroom. Teachers can use Tract FREE by using the code: LITWITHLYNS. Visit the link HERE to join.

5 Ideas for Using Tract in the Classroom

  1. Student Choice– Do you want your students excited to come to your class? With Tract, that’s exactly what will happen. It’s impossible for each kid not to find a “learning path” (lesson) that meets their interests. As I discussed in the blog post, “Have Students Thrive in the Classroom with Tract,” from gaming, movies, and music to art, anime, and TikTok, students will have endless opportunities to find activities they can relate to.
  2. Early Finishers– We all have students who finish every assignment before the rest of the class. Why not let them pick an activity from Tract to work on while other students are completing their work? You can either provide links to the learning paths you would like them to choose from. You can also let them pick their own. If we’re working on a specific topic, I’ll try to find several options based around the topic. I make a Google Doc with links they can choose.
  3. Easily Differentiate- Whether you’re teaching gifted students or kids who are on a remedial level, a lot of time and effort can be put into trying to differentiate for ALL learning levels. To be honest, it can be almost impossible. Not anymore! With Tract, each learning path can be filtered by grade level, Common Core Standard, topic, subject level, etc. As the teacher, you can choose what activities you would like students to choose from based on their needs.
  4. Project-Based Learning Made Easy– PBL always sounded good. Rarely did I have the time to sit down and create a project-based learning lesson plan. Now I don’t have to because Tract does it for me. Tract has over 4000 projects that are ready to go. This platform provides… “the structure and support to keep the whole class engaged as they complete lessons aligned to PBL Works’ 7 Essentials of project-based learning.”
  5. Social-Emotional Learning– In today’s society, it’s extremely important that we teach our students how to have self-awareness, self-control, and the skills necessary to be successful in life. As a result, Tract provides… “opportunities aligning to each of the five competencies of SEL to increase student academic performance and promote positive behavior and healthier life choices.” Tract is aligned to CASEL’s 5 SEL Competencies. This means no prep for the teacher! Tract has done it for you!

There are tons of ways to integrate Tract in your classroom. No matter what subject or grade level you teach, there are options for all learning levels! Sign up for free HERE using the code: LITWITHLYNS.
