I recently had the opportunity to do a blog post for the amazing WeAreTeachers! My blog post discussed 8 ways to use Commonlit in the middle and high school classroom.
If you aren’t familiar with Commonlit, it’s a FREE website that has a library full of over 1000 lessons on pretty much every topic you can think of. I’ve also previously blogged about this digital tool here, and will be presenting on Commonlit at this year’s Teach with Tech Conference. If you haven’t registered for this free online PD, you have until 11:30 pm EST tonight to do so. You can find the details on the TWT website. The best part about Commonlit (other than it being FREE) is that each lesson is standards-aligned and high interest. The lessons can also be easily differentiated for various learning levels, and teachers can track students’ progress using Commonlit’s analytics tool. Check out my blog post here.
Have you used Commonlit.org in your classroom? I’d love to hear how in the comments!
