Easter Reading Comprehension Activities

Easter Reading Comprehension Activities that focus on the history of Easter egg traditions, is a great resource to use with students in the spring! Looking for fun, ZERO PREP activities? Students will be engaged while using this digital and printable resource that will also help them to practice close reading skills.

Students will watch a short video and read the informational article. Then they will drag & drop the word tiles into the appropriate spot (if using Google Slides). They will fill in the blanks if watching the video as a class without individual devices. Next, they will answer close reading comprehension questions about the article before completing the interactive extension activities.

Since all students don’t celebrate Easter, I decided on the topic of Easter egg traditions as to avoid anyone feeling left out.
