As I work toward completing the online training necessary in order to teach in a virtual environment, I have been asked to address 3 qualities associated with exemplary digital citizens. Through my experience as an online college instructor, as well as incorporating daily digital assignments through Google Classroom, I have learned just how important it is to be an exemplary digital citizen. The three qualities I feel are most significant: being digitally respectful, being digitally responsible, and being socially and culturally aware. These are traits I have encouraged in all of my students and feel that it’s imperative that our generation implement these behaviors at all possible times.
