Your students will LOVE this End of Year Digital Escape that includes reading comprehension, figurative language, growth mindset, and more! This interactive and engaging escape is a great way to wrap up the year with a bang during those last weeks of school.
The links to each activity are housed on a Google Form, and students will complete each task in order to unlock the codes to move from one “room” to another.
There are 4 “rooms” in the End of Year Digital Escape:
#1– Growth Mindset– Students will watch a 4 minute video on growth mindset. Next they will answer questions on the video.
#2- Summer-Themed Word Scrambler– students will unscramble the words. Then they use the letters in bold to come up with the code.
#3- Student Reflection– Students will complete a reflection survey that asks questions about their year (what went well, what could’ve been better, what projects & activities they liked/didn’t like, etc.).
#4– Figurative Language- Students will drag and drop the summer-themed phrases to the correct type of figurative language (simile, metaphor, personification, onomatopoeia).
