Begin the New Year with this digital AND printable EDITABLE New Year’s Goal Setting Student Reflection & Video Journal Prompts resource! Students will watch a short video clip and will then respond to a journal prompt that addresses setting resolutions, goal setting, making positive changes, setting SMART goals, and more! Using the information they include in the journal responses, students will complete a New Year’s infographic.

**This New Year’s Goal Setting Resource Is Updated Yearly!**

These are great to print and put up on a bulletin board to remind students of the goals they have set.

Included in New Year’s Student Reflection & Video Journal Prompts:

• 5 video clips journal prompts that address various areas included in the infographic– goal setting, SMART Goals, resolutions, making positive changes, symbolism, etc. (YouTube is necessary to view videos).
• 2 page infographic
• Detailed directions on how to use
• Suggestions for use

• Warm-Up- start class by having students complete 1 video journal prompt. I give my students about 10 minutes at the beginning of period.
• Stations- students complete 1 video prompt at each station and then rotate to the next one.
• Homework- students could do 1 each night.
• Morning work
